Mezzanine Floor Project
Mezzanine Floor to textiles room at Kings Norton Girls school.
The Works were completed in the summer holidays and was completed alongside a refurbishment of the media studies room.
The client needed capacity for more students in their textiles room but as the school is in the Bournville area getting planning for an extension is very difficult and it just wasn't practical with the schools budget.
We overcame this problem by installing a mezzanine floor to the classroom to allow increased capacity in the space they already had. This had to be built to comply with building regulations which led to us bringing a specialist team in to design and manufacture the mezzanine which we then installed.
